NATIONAL WATER ACT
REVISION OF GENERAL AUTHORISATION FOR THE TAKING AND STORING OF WATER MacRobert wishes to draw your attention to the following important notice
The Acting Director-General of Water and Sanitation has, in terms of section 39 of the NWA, published the revised General Authorisation pertaining to the taking and storing of water, water uses in terms of section 21(a) and 21(b) of the NWA respectively.
The General Authorisation comes into effect six months after publication (i.e. on 1 March 2017) at which time the General Authorisation for the taking and storing of water contained in GNR 399 of 26 March 2004 will be withdrawn.
